I ordered one of my own 'Ruins' prints to see what kinda of product DA offers - a 9x12 in the Lustre finish. If it's nice, I'll buy the rest too and have myself a little framed flock of emo art.

Yesterday a friend and I did a marathon photoshoot in my garden. Tash has lots of straight black hair and some awesome gothy outfits, so I shot her in numerous clothes and poses all around the place - all 75 pictures turned out really nice. I started working on one in Photoshop last night and am quite excited about how they might look in the end.

Well, that's all the artsy update I've got.

Almost a year later with the next update. I should have picked "Deviant Lurker" right?

Nothing to say really, except that I've been moving in the direction of crafting this year and thought I might add some pics here.

Have had this tablet for 9 months now and only messed with it, I figured it was about time I ran it out properly. I've done a couple of freehand traces in Photoshop and colorized them, nothing too complicated, a little time consuming on the Bowie one though! I'm chuffed with the results though, and feel all accomplished. I mean, they're nothing compared to some of the vector stuff you see round here, but I'm a total n00b so I'm happy.

Sooner or later I will have to figure out the bezier thing in Illustrator though. Eck.

Well I thought it was about time I got this 'project' going. I did a GCSE in Art and Design and really enjoyed it. Then came the A-Levels and the degree and the working, and I never really applied myself to it again. That was... wow 10 years ago now... eek!

So I've been scribbling for a couple of weeks, and am just starting to do this project book I bought, like a little drawing course. I'm going to post the workings and results here, so hopefully I can get some tips along the way!

Self portrait is first (gah!) so I'm going to go and get on with that!
